About the Dominican Republic: Dominican Republic is the second largest and most diverse Caribbean country, situated just two hours south of Miami, less than four hours from New York and eight hours from most European cities. Known for its warm and hospitable people, Dominican Republic is a destination like no other, featuring astounding nature, intriguing history and rich culture. The Dominican Republic is one of the Caribbean's most geographically diverse countries, with stunning mountain scenery, desert scrublands, evocative colonial architecture and beaches galore.

About Cabrera: Our chosen location is Cabrera, on the north coast.  Cabrera has fast WiFi in most rentals, Coworking Space available, a low cost of living, plentiful referenced childcare, and is a small town so NO CAR NEEDED. Here you will discover cliff divers, a blue lagoon, pristine and unpopulated beaches, and most welcome of all, small town hospitality

Estimated Housing Budget*:

  • $300USD/month for a homestay
  • $500USD/month for a 2 bedroom apartment

*Note this is for budget estimation only - housing is the responsibility of each family but we do provide assistance in locating housing

Tuition cost: $300USD/month

What's Included: Tuition cost covers school tuition only.  If excursions are planned it will be organized in advance with parents, and families will be expected to pay their share of costs.
